  • My brother-in-law's son booked this venue for a big Asian wedding (yes they are back) and it is stunning to look at and you can see why couples would choose this venue...but it's not very practical when it comes to accommodating hundreds of guests. They have canapes in the old mansion house which is not accessible for disabled and very cramped when hundreds are trying to gather in the rooms. Then it's a bit of a trudge to the massive marquee. If you have to go back and forth to the car park, it's a long and winding path to and from the tent. Wheelchair access is not easy either to the tent. Once in there, food service was patchy - tables nearer the kitchen got everything whereas those in the furthest corners had to wait and by that time, items had run out - something unheard of at a big Asian wedding. Normally you ask for a start or mains refill and it is plentiful - not this time. The food did taste good but there was not enough of it. I know several people who skipped the mains and yet they still ran out of naans. For what you pay, it should be every angle covered. The toilets in the gents amounted to two urinals and one seat - which is pathetic. So I would say it looks great, but the value is not there.

  • An absolutely beautiful location, with lovely scenic areas. Everything was perfect right through from the decor to the food. The in house catering was exceptional. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone considering it.
